If you will be sending out a list of the documents with the documents themselves in a ZIP file (or you simply want a list for your own reference), you can create a list using the following procedure.
Start the WinRAR program and list the folder containing the ZIP file (or files) and select the ZIP file(s). Choose Tools - Generate Report and select copy report to clipboard and text, and tap OK. Then Paste into a Word or Excel document.
The filenames you now have a list of in the Word or Excel document will typically end with a date in dd-mm-yyyy format and be prefixed with the disclosure number e.g. A-20. This may be a suitable format and if so you can save it as a PDF file. If not you use Word or Excel features to put it in column format before saving as a PDF.
Alternatively you can unZIP the ZIP file into a folder and then copy the filenames. There are two ways of copying filenames:
Method 1
In Windows File Explorer, list the files in the folder and Right-click on the folder path name at the top and select Copy Address.
Hold the Windows key and tap R and, in the panel, enter CMD and tap OK to get into Windows command mode. Type in CD and paste in the folder path name and tap enter. Then enter dir /b to display a simple list of the files.
Select and copy (using CTRL-C) the list of files and past into a Word document.
Add a title and reformat as required in the Word file and save as a PDF.
Method 2
In Windows File Explorer, list the files in the folder. Select them all using CTRL-A then Right-click and select Copy as Path. This copies the whole of the pathnames, not just the filenames, so you then need to paste the pathnames into an Excel file and remove the extraneous information as explained in this video. Once you are satisfied with the format, save as a PDF.
