There are a number of ways of downloading messages as EML files.
You can open the message you want to send me a copy of in your email system and select download message or save message or export.
If your email system does not itself have a "download message" option another possibility is that a built-in Email app on your phone or tablet might have that option.
Using the above methods you can only download one message at a time. An alternative, If you have an Android device, is to buy and install the Nine app which has an export option which allows multiple messages to be downloaded in one go. This will save you time if there are many messages to be downloaded.
You could buy and use the Aqua Email app which has a save email as file option (to download one email at a time). It is available for both Android and iPhone/iPad.
