John Antell - Barrister

Based at King's Bench Chambers John Antell represents clients in civil trials at the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court in London, in the High Court (Chancery and Mercantile) in Bristol and Cardiff, and at county courts and tribunals throughout the South from Cornwall to Kent. 

Accepting instructions direct from clients, he has a broad civil practice with three specialities: contractual disputes (commercial and consumer),  private company law, and disputes about freehold land.
 
Conferences can be arranged in Plymouth, Bristol, Salisbury, Oxford or London.  








Contractual disputes range from disputes over financial services, insurance, consumer and business loans and mortgages, to professional services, trade between companies, building and construction work (both commercial and residential) industrial plant and manufactured products, boats, caravans and cars. 

Private company work includes disputes between shareholders, disputes between companies and directors, and disputes arising on insolvency particularly the claims or liabilities of former directors. 

Property work includes disputes over rights of way and other easements, restrictive covenants, and adverse possession.
