Using Google Street View

You can find an area using then drag the yellow Street View man to a particular location on a road to see the Street View images. You should do this on a Windows computer using the Chrome browser as the Android version is a cut-down version which does not have the historical image facility.

Tap on the clock symbol at the top left and a slide will appear showing the years of the earliest and latest images available. Move the slide to find the month/year you are interested in.

To save the image, tap on the three vertical dots at the top far right and select Print. On the next screen tap Print again and on the next screen select a Destination of Save as PDF, tap Save and save as a PDF with a descriptive name like this.

Street View Image of Middle Temple Jun 2018

Make sure that the month and year of the Street View image appears in the PDF.

In addition to the month and year of image you should ensure that the date that you took the copy, and the URL copied, also appear at the bottom.  This is in case there is a query about when you took the copy.
