Prefixing eml and msg files with date and time sent

You can use ReNamer on a Windows computer to rename EML/MSG files to prefix them with the date/time sent.


1. Start ReNamer    




2. Click and drag the EML/MSG files into the lower half of the ReNamer panel. The main panel should then look something like the picture below




3. Click where it says Click here to add a rule, select Insert and enter the information as shown in the panel below.

 



4. Then click the Add Rule bar. The panel will then show the new names in red:



5. Click the green Rename button to carry out the rename.
