Email - Saving selected emails in an MBOX using Aid4Mail

If you have access to a Windows computer, the simplest way to to save selected emails into an MBOX file is to use Aid4Mail which is available at modest cost - see Although Aid4Mail requires a Windows computer to run on but it is not limited to email systems on the Windows computer it is running on and can be used to create an MBOX from all types of email systems, including Gmail, Yahoo, Office etc.

A few emails systems allow you to save emails as individual files using click-and-drag but there may be problems in trying to save large numbers of emails using click-and-drag.

The first thing to do, when starting Aid4Mail is to select the email system where your emails are held. 

Enter your personal details to retrieve the emails 

Select the email folders containing the emails you want to save in the MBOX 

Select a target format of MBOX

Select the target folder where the MBOX is to be saved.

Press Start to commence the process of saving the emails into the MBOX.
